Guardian Angel Basset Rescue (GABR) helps place Basset Hounds in forever homes across Illinois, Indiana, and eastern Missouri. Our mission of "No Basset Left Behind – Anywhere" drives everything we do, from pulling hounds in need of medical care to giving lonely senior hounds a secure future.

Through our foster program, volunteers help rehabilitate Basset Hounds with injury or illness so they can enter a forever home healthy and happy. Basset Friends Forever provides every hound with the TLC they need to start a new chapter on the right paw. There is much work to be done to ensure that this mission stays alive for generations to come.
