PAWS Chicago's mission is to build No Kill communities — starting with a No Kill Chicago — that respect and value the life of every cat and dog; to end the overpopulation of homeless animals through solutions, practices and education; and to transform animal welfare by setting higher standards in the way animals are treated and developing a sustainable, solutions-based model.
PAWS Chicago is Chicago's largest No Kill humane and adoption organization. The Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center on Clybourn Avenue, the Lurie Spay/Neuter Clinic, the Blazer Building Training Center, and the Englewood Outreach Program work together to save homeless pets, keep animals with their families, and engage the public in solving pet overpopulation. We value respect for each and every life, compassion toward all people and animals, and education that raises awareness and supports responsible pet ownership.
